After the Mumbai Indians match against Chennai Super Kings in Abu Dhabi, cricket will move to Dubai as Delhi Capitals (DC) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) start their Dream11 (IPL) Indian Premier League 2020 campaign and meet in the second match. The tournament is on Sunday.

A fight within a battle

As the teams battle in the middle, in Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul, the game provides the opportunity to watch two young leaders face off against each other. IPL 2019 was Iyer's first full season as club captain, while IPL 2020 was the first season in which Rahul would lead the team. Although the hits will be watched and closely watched, their eyes will focus on the biggest prize: the far-fetched IPL award for their side.

Five players to watch out for:

While both sides have plenty of players who can change the course of the match, here are our top five picks that could make an impact on the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Kuala Lumpur Rahul

To put it mildly, KL Rahul has been quite impressive with bats in the last two seasons of Kings XI Punjab, scoring more than 1,250 points, at 12.51. Chosen as KXIP sponsor this season, he will be keen to follow from where last season left off and the team got off to a good start in IPL 2020. The right-handed uses his bat like a stick and with a wide range of strokes, he simply cannot take your eyes off him.

Chris Gayle

If Rahul could use clever touches and steal the show, then Chris Gayle could use brute force to direct the ball at his team. The Universe Boss holds the record for the IPL's Biggest Hundreds (6), plus the 28's, and has nearly 4,500 rounds against his name. With her ability to clear the fence quite easily and score at a fast pace, Gael remains a force to be reckoned with.

Shreyas Iyer

Chris Ayer led the Delhi Capitals to the quarter-finals last year and will make it a point to take them a step further this season. The right hitter can attack as he likes and has a good mix of power play and accurate shots in his hitting arsenal, making him one of the players to watch.

Rishabh trousers

Offbeat, bold, strong, cheeky, and effective. Rishabh Pant, the goalkeeper for Delhi capitals, is one of the funniest hitters out there. The southern ball, which hits in the middle order, has all the characteristics of a game-changer in the head with just a few balls.

Kagiso Rapada

The speed, variety of bowling, the ability to be effective at any stage of the game, and the ability to deliver under pressure make Kagiso Rapada a desirable possibility for either side. He was so dazzling at IPL 2019, shredding 25 wickets in 12 matches, and DC would be more than happy if he started filming on all cylinders from the first match of the 2020 IPL season.

Mujeeb Al-Rahman

The young player from Afghanistan has more than a handful of variations in his bowling repertoire, and thus on UAE tracks (for this game, in Dubai), Mujibur Rahman, who can throw well at PowerPlayers, would be one to look at.
